  • Exterior Description/Details:

The 488 Spider was introduced in 2015 as the latest in open-air motoring for the so-called "entry level" Ferrari, although with an original MSRP of $357,119 and performance that rivals Ferrari’s halo cars of just two generations ago, it’s a bit of a misnomer. Ferrari made major advancements to the 488, like improved airflow across nearly every surface, which lowered the drag coefficient while increasing downforce by about 50% compared to the 458. But Ferrari also made it civilized enough to be a daily driver, as the one on offer here has been used. The aluminum bodywork is finished in Grigio Silverstone, and was optioned with Scuderia Ferrari shields, 20” forged diamond wheels, and red calipers for the carbon ceramic brakes. The Adaptive Frontlight System adjusts the headlights’ focus and intensity based on steering inputs, while the front suspension lift and parking camera will greatly reduce anxiety when making a run to your local market.

A high-end JVC sound system with Apple CarPlay will make your commute much more enjoyable, and a fire extinguisher is on-hand in case your drive gets a little too exciting. The silver dedication plate has been left blank for the next owner to personalize.

All 488s are equipped with Ferrari’s Side Slip Angle Control, which was first introduced on the 458 Speciale, and basically allows the driver to get a little sideways while keeping the tires generally moving in the right direction, while the SCM3 magnetic suspension damping ensures that an uneven road doesn’t lead to an unwanted surprise. With just under 25,000 miles and a factory warranty, this 488 Spider is ready for a work day, a track day, or anything in-between.
