The 599 GTB Fiorano put the Enzo-derived 6.0-liter V12 into a front-engined berlinetta, producing 612 horsepower and a soundtrack that remains a reference point. It succeeded the 575M as Ferrari's two-seat V12 flagship and introduced magnetorheological dampers to the marque. Late cars with the HGTE handling package are the drivers' pick; a small number of gated six-speed manuals make those the unicorns of the run.

The 2011 model year
One of the final years for the 599 GTB before the F12berlinetta replaced it in 2012. By this point the range had spun off the GTO and SA Aperta, leaving the standard car as the accessible way into the platform.
