The SLK350 was the V6 heart of the SLK range, carrying the 3.5-liter through the end of the R171 and into the third-generation R172, where the 302-hp M276 gave it genuinely brisk performance. The R172 brought the option of Magic Sky Control, the glass roof that tints at the touch of a button. Its 2016 finale marked the end of naturally aspirated six-cylinder power in the compact Mercedes roadster.
