The Agera succeeded the CCX as Ängelholm's core offering and set the template every later Koenigsegg follows: 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8, seven-speed dual-clutch, carbon tub, dihedral synchro-helix doors. Output was 940 hp in original form. It earned BBC Top Gear's Hypercar of the Year on debut and evolved through the R, S, and RS into the record-setting cars of the following decade.
