The IS F was the car that started the Lexus F program: a compact sedan carrying the 416-hp 5.0-liter 2UR-GSE V8 and an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift gearbox, developed under chief engineer Yukihiko Yaguchi. Built in modest numbers through 2014, it established the naturally aspirated V8 formula that the RC F and GS F would inherit. Clean, unmodified examples have become quietly collectible.
