The Rapide S refined Aston's four-door with a bolder full-height grille, a revised chassis, and the AM29 6.0-liter V12 raised to 552 hp. From 2015 a ZF eight-speed transaxle transformed the car, cutting the sprint time and lifting top speed past 200 mph — remarkable figures for a four-seat luxury sedan of its day. It bowed out in 2019 as the last naturally aspirated V12 four-door Aston Martin.
