When BMW split the two-door M3 into its own line for 2015, the M4 inherited the most storied job in the sport-coupe world. The F82 built its reputation on the 425-hp S55 twin-turbo six; the current G82 answers with the 473-hp S58, a standard manual, and a wider, more aggressive stance. It remains the reference point every rival coupe is judged against.
