The V8 S was the original flagship of the F-Type line: a 495-hp supercharged 5.0-liter V8 in the convertible body, good for 60 mph in 4.2 seconds and 186 mph flat out. It existed for only two model years before the all-wheel-drive R convertible replaced it, which makes clean examples a short-window catch. The exhaust note alone has kept its reputation intact.
