The G63 AMG brought twin-turbo power to the G-Class in 2013, replacing the supercharged G55 with the 536-hp 5.5-liter M157 and its signature side-exit exhausts. The military-derived body-on-frame chassis and three locking differentials remained untouched underneath. It established the template for the modern G63 — an unlikely pairing that became one of Mercedes' most recognizable products.
