The F-Type R paired the aluminum body with Jaguar's 5.0-liter supercharged V8 - 550 hp at launch, 575 hp after the 2021 facelift - and became the definitive version of the car. Early examples are rear-drive and famously lively; from 2016, all-wheel drive brought the chassis into line with the engine. It bowed out in 2024 as the last supercharged V8 sports car Jaguar built.
