The Evora was Lotus's first all-new platform since the Elise — a bonded-aluminum 2+2 with Toyota's 3.5-liter V6 amidships and steering that became the segment reference. The supercharged Evora S and later the 400-hp Evora 400 broadened the range across its US run. It bridges the hand-built Hethel of the Elise era and the Emira that followed.
