The Portofino replaced the California T as Ferrari's folding-hardtop GT, with the twin-turbo V8 raised to 592 horsepower and a body structure both lighter and substantially stiffer than the car it succeeded. Named for the Ligurian harbor town, it kept the 2+2 layout and everyday temperament while closing most of the dynamic gap to the mid-engined cars. It is the Ferrari for the owner who drives year-round, top down when the weather allows.
