The Elva is McLaren's open-cockpit Ultimate Series roadster — no roof, no windows, and in original form no windscreen, with the Active Air Management System steering airflow over the cabin instead. Its 804-hp version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 made it the lightest road car of the modern era from Woking. McLaren trimmed the run to 149 cars, well below the number first announced.
