DBS is the badge Aston Martin reserves for the flagship above the DB grand tourer, and it has been worn by two very different cars. The 2008-2012 original paired the naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 with a lighter, harder-edged take on the DB9 — famously James Bond's car in Casino Royale. The name returned in 2019 on the DBS Superleggera, a 715-hp twin-turbo V12 super GT that stood at the top of the range until 2023. Both generations represent peak front-engined Aston for their respective eras.
