The V8-engined DB11 brought the Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo into the Aston Martin lineup, tuned in-house to 503 hp with its own intake, exhaust, and calibration character. Roughly 250 pounds lighter over the nose than the V12 car, it is widely regarded as the sweeter-handling DB11, trading outright pace for balance. It marks the beginning of the AMG technical partnership that shaped an entire generation of Astons.
