The 911 Dakar took the 992 Carrera 4 GTS drivetrain and raised it 50 mm on standard ride height, with a lift system adding 30 mm more, all-terrain tires, and body protection developed for genuine off-pavement use. It honors the 953 that won the 1984 Paris-Dakar rally, right down to the optional Rallye Design livery. Production was capped at 2,500 cars worldwide, and demand outran supply immediately.
