The MC20 marked Maserati's return to mid-engine supercars after the MC12: a carbon monocoque developed with Dallara, butterfly doors, and the in-house Nettuno V6 - 621 hp from 3.0 liters using Formula 1-derived prechamber combustion. Designed from the outset to accept coupe, open, and electric variants, it reset what the trident badge could credibly claim.
