The 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 answered the four-cylinder era's critics by putting a 394 hp naturally aspirated flat-six back in the middle of the roadster. Detuned only slightly from the Spyder's engine, it pairs with a six-speed manual or PDK and the full complement of GTS chassis equipment. Many regard it as the best-resolved open Porsche of its time: fast enough, analog where it counts, and usable year-round.
