LaFerrari is Maranello's hybrid hypercar - 499 coupes, each placed with a chosen client. The 6.3-liter V12 works with a HY-KERS electric motor for 949 combined horsepower, making it the first electrified Ferrari and, alongside the P1 and 918, one third of the holy trinity that defined the hypercar decade. It remains the reference point for peak analog-era Ferrari engineering wrapped in a Flavio Manzoni design.

The 2016 model year
Coupe production concluded with the 499th car (a 500th was built and auctioned for Italian earthquake relief). The open Aperta followed for 2017, but the coupe is where the model's design was conceived.
