The second-generation Ford GT was built by Multimatic in Markham, Ontario as a carbon-tub, 216-mph road car homologating the program that won the GTE Pro class at Le Mans in 2016 — fifty years after the GT40's 1-2-3 finish. Power comes from a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 mounted amidships, driving through a seven-speed dual-clutch. Ford vetted every original buyer through an application process, and just 1,350 cars were built through the end of 2022.
